About Scantec GB

Scantec GB specialises in the supplying of quality vehicle diagnostic services direct to the car owner. Our main goal is to have completely satisfied customers who would be happy to recommend us. Booking Of Services

All bookings made for mobile services & diagnostics either by telephone or email are made as provisional bookings and there for no guarantee of service is made until the vehicle has been inspected. All bookings are covered by the distance selling regulations (see below)

Payment / Prices

All prices quoted include VAT (@17.5%). All prices quoted are subject to change and all goods remain the property of “Scantec GB” until paid for in full. Full payment for services carried out must be made on completion before vehicle keys are returned to customer.

Parts Supplied With Or During Service

Under Block Exception rules and to insure any vehicle warranty’s are not violated, all parts supplied with or during diagnostic services will be of manufacturers quality unless otherwise stated.

Distance Selling Regulations

All bookings made for our mobile services whether placed via our website or over the telephone are covered by the distance selling regulations. All prices quoted will include VAT and are valid for a period of 14 days. Payment must be made by cash or cheque for services on completion. You have under this agreement a cooling off period of 7 working days from the date of making the booking in order to cancel the booking and this must be done in writing and sent to:

Your right to cancel services under this agreement ends on the commencement of work. This does not affect your statutory rights. Full details of the distance selling regulations can be seen at http://www.dti.gov.uk

Guarantee & Returns

All parts and good supplied during service also carry a full 12 month guarantee against defects. We will replace or repair or any item which proves defective within 12 months of original purchase. Your statutory rights are not affected for faulty items. All work is covered by a 3000 mile or 3 month warranty (whichever occurs first)

Online payment transactions via World-Pay use a 128 bit secure transaction system. All credit card details are scrambled using 128bit SSL encryption when the order is placed.
